Blue Waves located on Morjim Beach, near Marbela Beach Resort, is a two-floor beach shack that serves the classic Goan shack menu comprising seafood, salads, Indian main courses, shakes and juices; however, is better known for the epic trance parties it hosts throughout the season. Their Christmas and New Year's parties are often the most popular this side of the bridge, while their mid-season marathon trance nights also draw quite a crowd.

Set right on Baga Beach, Café la Musica is a chic beachside lounge. The café offers an eclectic menu featuring innovative oriental fare along with a well stocked bar and delightful cocktails. The ambiance here is laid-back and stylish. Run by a DJ/musician and his wife, Café la Musica hosts regular parties in this fabulous beachside venue.

Carved out of the earth atop the Vagator Cliff, Club 9 Bar (Nine Bar) offers a epic open-air venue that although specializes in Goa psytrance, also features other genres through the week, and often hosts international DJs and artists of repute. The open-air dance space shuts down at 10 pm, adhering to Goa's stringent noise pollution laws, however, an indoor club allows the party to continue into the wee hours. With its strategic location on the cliff above Vagator Beach, Club 9 Bar offers one of Goa's most coveted sunset views, best enjoyed with a cocktail or two!

Club Westend is located in the Mollembhat valley in the Saligao, Sangolda Village. This open-air nightclub is one of Goa's most popular party hubs, playing electronic music (largely trance), drawing some of the most recognized names in the industry from Goa and and across the globe. Club Westend features three dance floor levels, a rooftop pool, multiple bars and a good restaurant. The surrounding tropical landscape provides a scenic setting for parties that sometimes rage into the morning (and on special occasions, over days)!

Curlies is one of the original beach shacks on Anjuna Beach, offering an eclectic and expansive menu, chilled cocktails, several chill-out and dining areas and a fabulous beachfront location. It is the place to meet and greet for sunset and trance! The music begins around 5pm, with DJs from across the globe playing Goa trance to the setting sun. As the night advances, the decibels continue to rise along with the energy. Stringent noise pollution laws ensure the parties wind down around midnight, but every so often, they find a way to go on..and on…and on! So stick around!

Hill Top is Goa's iconic party destination and the place to be for all trance aficionados! People from across the globe convene in this neon palm grove for its legendary psychedelic parties. Sundays are a weekly event here, albeit strict 5pm to 10pm affairs, with international DJs playing the pulsing beats of Goa psy-trance to a mixed global crowd of Goa's residential global urban nomads and old school hippies to student backpackers and international tourists. On Christmas, New Years and other occasional events, Hilltop hosts special raves, where the numbers multiply to the thousands, and the parties last for more than 24 hours. Micasa is a charming oceanfront property located on Ashvem Beach. The resort offers chalets and villas as well as three comfortable suites with a spectacular view. Here you can enjoy the pool overlooking the sea, kite surfing lessons, yoga classes and an appetizing BBQ, held weekly. This sprawling market is located in Arpora and transpires every Saturday evening from 6pm until late night. Here, one may find everything from archetypical Indian stalls selling spices, teas, Kashmiri carpets and silver jewellery to international designers who convene from all over the word to sell their unique creations, many of which may be found only here. This market also houses food stalls featuring cuisines from across the globe, and the centre stage that hosts live concerts featuring Rock to Indian Classical. Further up the hill, is "The Boutique House Bar" that serves delightful cocktails (try the fresh strawberry Daiquiri) while DJs play late into the night.

UV Bar is a popular party destination on the Anjuna beach party strip, known for its music events. Set on the shores of the beautiful sandy beaches of Goa, the nightclub is an ideal location to watch the sunset and then dance the night away. Mostly recognized for playing some of the best trance music in Goa, UV Bar also hosts weekly techno parties.

Woof Woof offers day excursions or private parties, on its customized 53 foot, handcrafted teakwood boat, ideal for a trip with the kids, family or friends. The boat caters to 12 passengers ("Woofers") at a time and the journey comprises a trip into the Arabian Sea with a meal catered by the celebrated Sublime restaurant . Woof Woof also offers a fully functional cocktail bar and option for live entertainment.
A bar popular with the long-time residents here, Bubble Brunch is located on the notorious Chapora bar street. Inside the ambiance is casual and decadent at the same time, where grandma's wallpaper meets retro disco balls. It houses a small dance floor, which has on many occasions been packed to the hilt, as well as a comfy chill-out area. This lounge bar makes one of the best cocktails in the area- their B52s are fab!
Club Cirrus, brought to you by Goa's own model-turned- DJ, Ignatious Camilo (Iggy) and his business partner, Bharat Arora, is set in a verdant private property in Anjuna. The glass enclosed, completely soundproof, intimate nightclub makes for a prime alternative to the trance scene in Goa. The Cirrus garden also hosts regular day "kid's camp", barbeques and Goan thali lunches. Resident DJs are Raketa, Jewlung, chemical monkey, mister.k, and Iggy himself. Cockstown is an ubiquitous Arambol beach shack (by day), serving fresh seafood and chilled cocktails. On some evenings, however, this beach shack transforms into an outdoor beach-club. With resident (global) DJs playing techno and electro, the parties often last late into the night under the stars and the grove of coconut trees. Another popular Baga nightclub is Club Blue, located in La Calypso Hotel. This club is open through the year. The club features every popular dance genre- pop, retro and hip hop, and caters to the more mainstream visitor. The club periodically hosts live acts and bands.
Primrose Café (or "Prem Rose", as lovingly referred to by its regulars), attained its legendary status quite quickly in Goa the party hoppers and urban nomads. The origin of Primrose Café is of debate. Many believe it was once a chai-stall that was adopted by the hippies as their second home, infusing the café with their flower power and psychedelic art. Although the psychedelic lighting and paintings still remain, the parties now rage in the inside club, adhering to Goa’s recent stringent regulations. Set right on Ashvem Beach, Shanti, is one of the area's popular and fashionable spots. From a sunset cocktail at the open air lounge or a leisurely meal on the upper deck to a late night party with renowned international DJ's, Shanti has something for everyone.
Shiva Valley is the nondescript shack just next door to Curlies that turns into one of Goa’s hottest party spots every Tuesday. The parties begin at sunset with the “chai mamas” setting out their tables in preparation of feeding the hungry dancers. The venue attracts well known DJs from across the world and the dance-floor is packed soon after it opens. The parties continue till midnight, but like Curlies, some nights may go on longer. 5PM ONWARDS / Tuesday nights, & other special parties.
