OVERVIEW & BACKGROUND
The Liquid Sky was created by Axailes Solar (a DJ, musician and artist extraordinaire from Brussels) as a platform to bring together diverse sounds, artistic expressions and people onto one common dance-floor. Originally this ideal manifested in an unique beach shack on Arambol beach that operated through the night and became a celebrated venue in Goa until it closed in 2006.
In the last 4 years, the Liquid Sky has been operating as an ensemble rather than a destination, hosting legendary parties across venues in Goa. The Liquid Sky Collective comprises DJs of varied repertoires (trance, minimal, techno, tech-house,etc), as well artists, designers and performers. Liquid Sky parties are extravaganza events, replete with complete stage design, artist performance, fashion shows and fire dancers, and are often thematic.

DJ Axailes is one of the most recognized DJs in Goa.
DJ Axailes plays electro, minimal (or maximum minimal as she calls it), progressive and techno. She is also credited with organizing some of Goa's most legendary parties.
Axailes was one of the first DJs to introduce electro music to Goa, a place that was previously dominated by trance. As the founder of the Liquid Sky Collective, established in Arambo, she has been effective in introducing several new DJs with fresh sounds to the Goan scene--including, Yo-El, Andy Shakty, E.N.O.T., Tim Svodnick, Zig, Jay Pink, Orange, Dava Di Toma and Ma Faiza. Axailes is also a member of Bass Bunny Corp. and more recently of Electric Zoo.
As a musician, she has released pop funk album entitled ‘Little Greys's Nite’ in 1992 with her band 'The Powaga Sisters', an ensemble of six women led singer Isabelle Antena.
In 1989, Axailes was introduced to the electronic music scene in Brussels and went on to become a resident DJ at celebrated clubs in the city, including the likes of Bazaar, Delicious Nite, Feel Up, Walvis, Warm Up, Alka Selzer. Thereafter, a variety of musical projects followed, inculding I.o.T with Le Chien Jaune, Triphaz with Jim Van Eyck.
In 2006, she once again collaborated with Isabelle Antena for an electro bossa album titled T'oujours du Soleil', under the name 'Antena'. They had 2 tours across the US and as the opening act for Thievery Corporation.
She currently splits her time between Goa, Europe and Montreal, where she continues to DJ and host parties.

Charles , aka DJ Shy-O started Dj’ing in 1996.
As an events manager, Shy-O has been active in the underground house and techno scene 1998. Since then, he has been organizing parties in Paris and in other cities of Europe - not only in renowned clubs but also in unconventional venues including caves, basement of the Montparnasse tower; boats, trucks for the Paris Technoparade, etc, collaborating with various organizations, including Sweet Home, Magic Garden, Fresh Air, Objectif Groove, Electric Zoo.
As DJ, Shy-O plays ‘raw, groovy and’ disturbing’ progressive, house and techno tracks’. He has had the opportunity to play in clubs across France, UK and India at parties/
In this role, he has played alongside celebrated artists such as Talvin Singh, Midival Punditz, King Britt, Agoria, Playin’4 the city, DJ Deep, Terry Francis, Djul’z, Jérome Pacman, Tom Parris, Yayo, Cyril K, Dan ghenacia, Silicone Soul…
In 2007, he was signed on the label Fat Form record, founded by his friend Myriam, aka DJ Miss Tick, Dj Natas and D-Sens.
Settled in Goa since Oct 2008, Shy-O has joined the Electric Zoo team and continues to organize parties and Dj there, spreading Phat sounds around…His sensibility and technical approach to a mix creates a palpable synergetic relationship between DJ and dance-floor--a celebration of sounds and movements through rhythms of life…
In November 2009, he is due to start a weekly residency @ « the KOOL club » in North Goa, and will co-manage the logistic and the artistically direction of the club with his friend Dj Axailes Solar.
Shy-O and Axailes are now working on an instinctive duo: « Dj KILL & MR HYDE » combining computers, desks and external effects to offer a rocking LIVE between, Minimal, techno and Progressive: Watch Out!!!

Manu grew up between Goa and Paris always surrounded by a myriad of experti-mental sounds, expressions and ways of thinking!
His parents were among the first hippies to move to Goa 33 years ago so he was one of the first kids roaming the then almost desert beaches that became the base for a great deal of musical and cultural creation and expansion, like the trance movement, among others.
At age 19 he became guitar player of Watcha, the most successful Nu Metal band in France, with whom in the last 15 years he made 5 albums and played over 700 concerts worldwide.
As he always had strong interest for techno, in winter 2007 he started an electronik project of his own in Goa learning how to build patterns with analog machines, using the skills and experience from the years with the band.
He started performing a live act in winter season 2008-2009 in Goa. He played over 30 gigs and Rocked the BEACHES!
Next he spent the summer season 2009 as resident Dj/live act and sound guy at L'aternatif Club in Lavandou, France, where he shared the stage with famous artists like CRYSTAL DISTORTION , 69 db and IXINDAMIX.
Then he returned to Goa for a ROCKING winter season 2009-2010, with more than 45 gigs performed in famous Goa clubs like West-End , with Mathew Jonson and the Liquid Sky parties with Axailes and friends and beach parties everywhere, spreading his energy all over the Goa dance floors and quickly building a reputation for a super fun, uplifting style and becoming the most sought out techno Dj by party lovers and organizers around.
