Barcode Lounge & Grill is housed in a colonial Portuguese building refurbished with modern styling. Decked in black and white, and various shades of grey, the premises is segregated into several areas - outdoor seating for musical events, screenings and outdoor activities; the completely air-conditioned indoor area further has a bar section, a lounge and family dining. The restaurant can accommodate upto 150 cover between these areas, which also includes an adjoining dedicated space for Indian/Goan dining.
Illustrations in vinyl, murals and photographs adorn the walls while bar stools and lounge chairs fill in the rest of the space, in a minimal aesthetic. Nero Barcode is equipped to host live bands, parties, games and conferences.
Themed nights are planned here through the week. Nero Barcode aims to be an ideal pre-gaming venue (a warm-up before heading for a night out).
Barcode serves a mix of European and Goan delicacies with a fresh and quirky menu. The produce is from their own organic farm in Succoro. The menu>> is carefully planned to complement the extensive cocktails and spirits on offer.
'Mixologists' at Barcode create cocktails based on Tiramisu and cheesecake to name a few, and serve Jägermeister chicken wings accompanied with Jägermeister shots.
House favourites are Crispy Chicken Sticks & Bang Bang Chicken Salad. Chef's special include a Mezze Platter, Sweet Chilli Prawns with Rice Noodles and Salmon in Thai Coconut paste amongst others while Chicken with pink guava BBQ sauce is a highlight. The elaborate Goan Thali is a crowd favourite dish for lunch.
