Emeline Grasset and Iris Strill, both graduates of Art school in France, launched "Purple Jungle" in 2010, selling in flea markets and vendors across India, and opening boutiques in Delhi and Goa in 2011. Located on the Calangute main road, Purple Jungle offers a fun and colorful range of funky bags, pouches, cushions, and other kitsch home decorations. The collections are inspired by iconic imageries of everyday India, such as Indian truck, film posters, even the the neighborhood barber.
