S.E.A is an intimate restaurant set within a 1800s Portuguese villa, in Assagao, a quaint village in North Goa. Open all year, drop by for a sumptuous menu of Southeast Asian dishes, and weekly live entertainment.

S.E.A is an elegant restaurant in Goa, set within a beautifully renovated Portuguese mansion from the 1800s. A narrow entrance gate opens out to the manicured garden dotted with ornamental shrubs and native trees. Past the reception lobby, welcome to the intimate dining space that features a bar at one end and a balcony at the other. You can choose to be seated indoors under chandeliers, or in the covered corridor that overlooks the garden, with views of the Goan life pass by outside. High ceilings, arches, carved pillars, and a set of minimal sea-inspired decor elements complement the dark wood furniture and the muted interiors.

S.E.A offers a wholesome dining experience replete with an array of shared small plates aimed at transporting you to the flavors and aromas of the coast, and Southeast Asia in particular.

Lotus Stem with tamarind chilly, Onion Paniyaram, spicy Thai Basil Chicken and Ghee Roast Black Pepper Mutton are crowd favorites. There is also a selection of grills to choose from - eggplant, tofu, fish, lamb chops, and pork ribs.

Owners recommend the Kerala Prawn Thoran, Vietnamese Prawn Spring Rolls, stir-fried mushrooms with Bok Choi,  and Sago Piak, while guests who're after authentic dishes can try the S.E.A signatures that include Thai Garlic Prawns, Crab in Singapore Style chilli curry, and cumin Lamb Briskets.

The dessert menu features Asian Panacotta, Badam Payasam, and Pineapple Delight to finish off your meal on a sweet note!

Quenching your thirst is a bespoke beverage program that reflects modern mixology through techniques that will have you raising a glass or two. Pair your coastal adventures as you sip on Chrysanthemums infused gin, home-made beetroot wine, smoked paprika cordial or even blue-coconut sorbets!

Dr. Haldi and the Cactus Alert are a glimpse into how fancy the concotions here really are! Under master mixologist Evgenya Prazdnik (top 3 world's best bartenders in 2017), their signature cocktail menu comes to life as native coastal treasures such as spices, herbs, fruits and botanicals are rediscovered. “The hospitality and food and beverage industry is forever evolving and believing that being a master of one segment gives you an advantage that no-one else could have. Bringing my passion of cocktail making and drink experiences to SEA, I am enthusiastic about opening up a whole new world for our guests. My favorite drink is the Vitamin SEA made from Tequila, because who doesn’t love vitamins!” says Evgenya Prazdnik.

A cosy corner of the indoor dining room doubles up as a stage for weekly live music and entertainment. Expect to listen to local and travelling artists who will set the mood for a vibrant evening out.

Bring your gang of girls for the ladies night every Thursday, and enjoy unlimited pouring of select cocktails all night.

Saurabh Anand, inspired by his travels across Southeast Asia, and the spice trade routes, created S.E.A, as an ode to the Goan shores.

While he forayed into the food industry with his first restaurant at New Delhi in 2000, which evolved into an outdoor catering business, New York is where he found his calling as a restauranter and an entrepreneur, with the launch of Bhatti Indian Grill in 2007.

Following a Bachelors in Hotel Management from M S Ramaiah College in Bangalore, and a stint at Le Meridien, New Delhi, he went on to own popular restaurants such as Moti Mahal (NYC), Awadh (NYC), Bhatti Indian Grill (NYC), and Masala House (New Delhi). Blessed with significant learnings from his paternal uncle, who is also his mentor, Saurabh encourages entrepreneurial visions for the future generation.

Saurabh collects high-end watches, and can be seen driving around in his fast cars. Fascinated by different cuisines and cultures, he unwinds by travelling, and aims to be a pilot some day!

S.E.A opened its doors in September 2019.

“Characterizing the heart of Assagao - Goa, S.E.A aims at creating an honest and welcoming experience that lures locals and visitors alike with its seafood and Southeast Asian cuisine with a young and airy vibe. Aiming to curate coastal food with a menu crafted to offer a multi-course experience of unadulterated and simple flavours, I am excited to open up a delicious  world that exemplifies my love for great food” says Anand.
