Bookshop and Cafe
Set in a quaint Portuguese-styled bungalow amidst a lush garden, Literati Bookshop & Cafe is an absolute delight. Although conveniently located in proximity to the main tourist district of Calangute, the atmosphere inside is calm and soothing. The premise also houses a special Italian café which operates in the garden during the season. It is an ideal to read, sip on some coffee and nibble on snacks. Book launches and readings happen regularly while documentaries and art shows are occasional. Bebook, a children's mobile library run by an independent trust is also housed at Literati.
